Finding the Almost Perfect Twitter Username When Yours Is Already Taken

You have finally decided to create your own account on Twitter after reading about the benefits it can have on you and your business.  Welcome to the party!  Unfortunately, you might be a little late to the party and it turns out the username you want to register has already been taken by someone else.  No need to worry, we will suggest a few ways to still get your desired name or phrase in a username.

Let’s pretend you are a fitness trainer named “Craig Johnson”.  Without looking at Twitter, I can pretty much guarantee that @Craig and @CraigJohnson are taken.  Similarly @fitnesstrainer is taken as well.  Stumped, you are not sure what name you should go after now. Read the rest of this entry »
